EXHIBIT is the festival that gives unconditional attention to the domain of digital technologies that characterizes the civilization of the third millennium.
Art is communication, not hysterical assault of our senses. Communication starts with stories that are about to be told. Moreover, the success of a story has more to do with the talent of the storyteller that with the medium through which it is narrated.
Giving birth to a story means taking it from the darkness, and revealing it to our consciousness. Technology has achieved this goal.
The digitization of art has a creative power that is unchallenged. It is not just simply a translation of a visual or auditory language. If everything can be transformed into a bit, everything can be played and anything can become authentic again.
Exhibit begings therefore to present the conquest of a new expressive dimension, supra-personal, through an international selection of authors and visionary tales, within this bonfire of the third millennium around the spectacular theatre that is Venice.

EXHIBIT è un festival che si concede senza riserve al dominio delle tecnologie digitali che caratterizzano la civiltà del terzo millennio.
L’arte è comunicazione, non aggressione isterica dei sensi. La comunicazione ha inizio con le storie che stanno per essere raccontate e il successo di una storia ha più a che fare con il talento del narratore che con il medium attraverso il quale viene narrata.
Dar luce ad una storia significa strapparla dal buio e rivelarla alla coscienza; la tecnologia ha raggiunto questo scopo. La digitalizzazione dell’arte ha un incontrastato potere creatore. Non è solo e semplicemente traduzione di un linguaggio visivo o sonoro o uditivo. Se tutto può essere trasformato in bit, tutto può venire riprodotto e tutto può nuovamente essere autentico.
Exhibit nasce quindi per presentare la conquista di una nuova dimensione espressiva e sovrapersonale attraverso una selezione internazionale di autori e di messaggi visionari nel seno di questo accampamento del terzo millennio, attorno al teatro spettacolare che è Venezia. - contact us
